The Message Map: A Clarity Kit for Founders Who’ve Lost the Thread
Follow the thread. Your message was never lost—just buried beneath too many shoulds. The path back to your voice is already written.
A tool for founders, creatives & brand-builders who’ve lost the thread.
If your brand voice feels off lately, you don’t need another “ideal client avatar” worksheet or a content calendar template.
What you do need?
Something sharp. Focused. Human.
The Message Map is a curated set of 10 micro clarity prompts — designed to help founders like you cut through the fog and speak from truth, not trend. Whether you’re mid-pivot, rebranding or just exhausted from trying to “sound professional,” this is your reset.
Who is this for?
This is for the founder who:
Can’t explain what they do anymore without sounding like everyone else
Knows their work matters — but feels disconnected from how they’re talking about it
Wants their voice back (without having to write a manifesto to get there)
If you’ve ever thought:
“My content used to hit. Now it just blends in.”
“I don’t even sound like myself anymore.”
“I have so much to say, I just don’t know where to start…”
This is for you.
Start Here: The 5-Minute Excavation
Before we even get into prompts, do this. Don’t overthink it — just write. Let it be raw.
Finish this sentence:
“If my ideal client really understood what I do, they’d never again __________.”Write a short rant:
What are you tired of seeing in your industry that still gets applause?Recall the best compliment you ever received from a client:
What did it actually say about your value?Write a love letter to your work:
Why do you still show up for this? What are you no longer available for?
In your content, your clients, your delivery, your vibe?
Now reread what you wrote. Underline the sentence that made you feel something. That’s where your clarity lives.
Use AI Wisely: Turn Your Writing Into Better ChatGPT Prompts
The key to using AI (without losing your voice) is feeding it your own insight.
Try this formula:
“Based on this idea: [your sentence], help me write [type of content] that reflects [tone] and achieves [goal].”
Examples:
“Based on this rant: ‘People don’t need more productivity hacks — they need fewer distractions,’ help me write a LinkedIn post that’s bold and curious.”
“Based on this: ‘I’m no longer available for vague positioning,’ help me write a homepage headline that sounds clear, sharp, and high-integrity.”
ChatGPT should amplify your thinking — not replace it. These prompts help you find the signal first.
The 10 Micro Clarity Anchors
Use these when you’re stuck, pivoting, launching, or writing something that matters.
What’s the hill your brand would die on — and why is it worth the blood?
What’s one uncomfortable truth your industry avoids — but your work confronts?
What three words would your best-fit client use to describe your work after bingeing it?
What are you no longer available for — in your voice, your offers, your presence?
What’s the surface-level problem your clients think they have — and what’s the real one you solve?
If your brand were a person at a dinner party, what would they interrupt to say?
What pain are you helping end — not just soothe?
What message have you been circling around but not saying directly?
What does your brand refuse to be complicit in?
What question do you wish every client asked before working with you?
Pick one. Write for 10 minutes. Then run it through ChatGPT or your favorite AI engine to refine and expand.
